We built this pullover for heavy cold. The smooth knit outer is bonded to a lofted sherpa fleece lining that runs through the body, while the wide kangaroo pocket gives your hands a warm place to rest. Ribbed bands finish the cuffs and bottom hem to balance the roomy drop-shoulder cut.

What went into it

The details we cut in

Double layer build

The outer face is a smooth knit with a cotton hand, backed inside by a thick layer of high-pile sherpa fleece. It holds its shape without feeling stiff.

Hood and kangaroo pocket

The hood is shaped to sit comfortably without pulling back on the collar. A single wide kangaroo pocket is topstitched across the lower front to hold small items.

Ribbed cuffs and hem

We finish the wrists and waist with wide rib-knit banding. This keeps the sleeves in place when pushed up and gathers the hem slightly against the hips.

Gentle machine wash

Turn the hoodie inside out before washing on a gentle cycle with like colours. Avoid bleach and lay flat or line dry to keep the fleece lining soft.
