We cut this sweatshirt with extra room through the chest and body so it sits away from the torso. The cotton and polyester knit is brushed soft inside without feeling heavy, dyed here in a quiet grey blue. Ribbing finishes the rounded neckline, the cuffs, and the straight hem.

The details we cut in

Crew neckline

The neckband is cut from matching ribbed knit that lies flat against the collarbone. It holds its round shape through repeated pulling over the head.

Sleeve and cuff

We set the sleeve low on the shoulder to keep the armhole wide and unrestrictive. Long ribbed cuffs gather the fabric at the wrist so the sleeves stay pushed up.

Straight hem

The lower edge finishes in a wide rib band that rests loose over the hips. It hangs straight down rather than gripping tight around the waist.

Knit care
