We cut this sweatshirt with extra room through the chest and torso for an easy pullover layer. The cotton-blend knit has a soft interior loop that holds heat without turning heavy. Long sleeves finish in ribbed bands that sit firmly at the wrist.

What went into it

The details we cut in

Crew neckline and shoulders

The ribbed collar sits flat against the base of the neck without pulling. We dropped the shoulder seams slightly to give the sleeves a relaxed hang through the upper arm.

Ribbed cuffs and hem

Wider ribbing at the wrist keeps the sleeves in place when pushed up. The hem is bound in the same ribbed knit to settle cleanly around the hips.

Cotton blend fabric

The midweight knit pairs cotton for hand-feel with synthetic yarn for shape retention. It drapes loosely rather than clinging, offering warmth through cooler weather.

Laundering notes

Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle, separately or with like colours. Avoid bleach to preserve the dyed purple tone, and lay flat or line dry.
