We cut this lightweight pullover sweater with a relaxed regular drape and short sleeves for warm weather. The V-neck sits flat along the collarbone and is finished with decorative buttons down the front placket. Horizontal black stripes run across the body and sleeves.

What went into it
The details we cut in
V-neckline and buttons
The open neckline is finished with a ribbed band to hold its shape through daily wear. Decorative buttons sit below the point of the V, adding weight so the front placket hangs straight down the chest.
Lightweight knit fabric
We chose a fine-gauge yarn with built-in stretch that lets the fabric move without bagging out. The weave is light and breathable for warmer days, yet opaque enough to wear without an extra underlayer.
Shoulder and sleeve cut
The set-in short sleeves are cut with clean shoulder seams that sit right on the joint. The sleeve bands rest comfortably around the arm, finished with a tidy ribbed edge that matches the collar and lower hem.
Black stripe pattern
Evenly spaced horizontal black stripes run across the body and match along the side seams. For laundering, machine wash cold on a gentle cycle or wash by hand, then lay flat to dry away from direct heat.
