Princess seams shape the torso of this short sleeve polo without pulling at the bust or waist. We built the neck with a stand collar and a front quarter zipper that stays flat when open. Two pockets sit flush along the side seams, and the hem curves lower at the back.

What went into it

The details we cut in

Quarter zip collar

A nylon teeth zipper runs down the front placket so you can vent the neck or close it up under a wind layer. The collar points hold their shape after washing.

Princess seams

Long vertical seams run from the armhole down through the body to give structure to the knit. They keep the side pockets anchored so keys or tees do not bounce.

Quick dry knit

We chose a lightweight synthetic jersey printed in the Colorful Ripples A pattern. The fabric resists creasing, packs small in a gym duffel, and dries fast on a hanger.

Hem and pockets

The curved bottom hem provides light coverage when you swing or bend. Two discreet side pockets sit flat against the hip without breaking the line of the print.
