We cut this pullover with a dropped shoulder and an easy, roomier body that falls well below the hip. The fleece backing is brushed for loft and warmth through colder weather. Finished with embroidered conch detailing across the chest, a lined hood, and ribbed edges that hold their shape.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Hood and neckline
The hood is cut with a deep crossover neck that sits flat against the collarbone when down. We lined the hood in self-fabric so it keeps its structure without pulling back on the neck.
Fleece jersey fabric
We chose a cotton-blend knit with a smooth outer face and a thick, lofted fleece underside. The fabric has natural give across the width and hangs straight down through the body.
Front pouch pocket
A classic kangaroo pocket is stitched flat across the lower front. We reinforced the side entry points with bartacks to handle hands resting inside or everyday carry.
Rib knit trims
Deep ribbed knit finishes the cuffs and bottom hem. The ribbing grips lightly at the wrist to keep long sleeves in place, while the hem stays open enough to drape cleanly over trousers.
