We knit this pullover with a Fair Isle reindeer and heart pattern across the chest and body. The apricot yarn gives it a pale, warm ground, while the raglan sleeves keep the shoulder line soft and easy to layer over a collared shirt. What went into it
The details we cut in
Raglan sleeve cut
The diagonal armhole seam runs directly from the crewneck down to the underarm. This removes the rigid shoulder point so the knit rests flat, leaving plenty of room for an undershirt or a thermal base layer.
Ribbed trim
A dense ribbed band finishes the round neckline, the sleeve cuffs, and the bottom hem. The rib knit contracts slightly to pull the sweater in against the wrists and waist, keeping the edges neat after repeated pulls.
Fair Isle knit
The reindeer, tree, and heart patterns are worked directly into the jacquard knit rather than printed on top. The medium-weight yarn gives the motif clean definition across the front while keeping the interior soft against the body.

Wash this piece by hand in cool water or run it on a cold machine cycle inside a mesh laundry bag. Avoid bleach and tumble drying, and lay the knit flat on a towel to air dry.
