A soft knit scrub shirt cut for movement during long shifts. We gave it a classic V-neck, short set-in sleeves, and side vents at the straight hem so it does not pull across the hips when you bend or sit. Three patch pockets hold pens, instruments, and a phone.

What went into it

The details we cut in

Banded V-neck

The collar is banded with a clean V-neck that lies flat and holds its shape through repeat washings. We kept the opening moderate so it stays comfortable when bending over a table or desk.

Three patch pockets

We placed two deep lower patch pockets at the waist and a smaller utility pocket on the left chest. The lower pockets are wide enough to carry a phone, scissors, and small notebooks.

Side split hem

The straight hem is cut with short side slits that let the garment open slightly over your trousers. This gives your hips room to move freely when you sit or crouch.

Soft stretch knit

We chose a flexible knit fabric printed with a multi-coloured dinosaur pattern. Wash this piece on a cool cycle with like colours, avoid bleach, and hang it on a line to dry.
