We knit this lightweight pullover in an aqua yarn that stays opaque while letting air through. The cut opens at the collar with an unbanded V-neck, then eases down to three-quarter sleeves and a subtle peplum ruffle. It sits naturally over the waistband of trousers or a skirt.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Openwork stitch and ruffle
We set a delicate openwork stitch into the lower sleeves and around the bottom hem. The knit spreads out slightly into a gentle peplum ruffle that hangs loose around the hip instead of clinging.
Neckline and sleeve cut
The V-neck is shaped with clean edges that sit flat against the collarbone. Three-quarter sleeves end between the elbow and wrist, finished with matching stitch detail so the cuffs hold their shape without binding.
Yarn weight and colour
Spun for a lightweight feel, the aqua knit offers full coverage without extra bulk. The yarn is soft to the touch and works well through mild spring days, summer evenings, and early autumn.
Washing and care
Machine wash on a gentle cycle inside a mesh laundry bag, or wash by hand in cool water. Hang or line dry to keep the open stitches intact. Do not bleach or use high heat when pressing.
