We cut this pullover in a high-pile sherpa fleece with dropped shoulders and a relaxed torso. The tall funnel collar zips open to sit flat or closes up to the chin. Side pockets close with zippers to secure small items when walking.

Funnel collar and half zip
A tall neck unzips down the chest for quick venting. Pull it closed to block drafts around the throat, or fold the collar open across the chest.
Dropped shoulder seam
The shoulder seam falls past the shoulder point into a broad sleeve. This leaves plenty of room underneath for base layers without bunching under the arm.
Zipped side pockets
We set pockets into both side seams with zip closures. The pocket bags sit flat against the hip and keep small items from sliding out on the trail.
Washing and fabric care
Wash this fleece on a gentle cycle in cold water and hang it to dry. Cool iron out of the packaging if needed to lift the pile back up.
