We cut this blouse from a lightweight knit that holds its opacity without feeling heavy on warm days. The crew neckline sits flat, opening into small pleats across the chest that give the body room through the waist. Three-quarter sleeves end just below the elbow, balanced by a curved hem that sits lower in the front and back.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Chest pleat detail
Small pleats fold down from the base of the crew neck, opening fabric across the chest. This release creates ease through the middle of the body without widening the shoulders.
Three-quarter sleeves
The set-in sleeves finish between the elbow and the wrist. We hemmed the cuffs flat so they sit clean against the forearm without bunching or binding when you bend your arm.
Curved hemline
The lower edge arcs upward slightly at the side seams and drops in the center. It hangs clear over trousers or skirts and stays tucked if you prefer to tuck it in.
Fabric and care
The knit is smooth and lightweight. Machine wash the top in cold water and hang it to dry or tumble dry on a low heat setting. A quick warm iron clears any packing folds.
