We cut this top from a lightweight jersey that drapes softly without sheer spots. The rounded neckline settles into small front pleats across the chest to give the torso extra ease through the middle. Finished with three-quarter sleeves and a rounded shirttail hem.

The details we cut in
Crew neckline and pleats
Small pleats drop straight down from the round crew neckline. This adds fullness through the chest and lets the lightweight knit fall away from the body without clinging.
Three-quarter sleeve cut
The sleeves end past the elbow and rest well above the wrist. We hemmed the cuffs flat so they sit cleanly under a light jacket or cardigan.
Curved shirttail hem
The bottom hem curves upward at each side seam and dips lower in the front and back. It stays tucked into waistbands or hangs loose over trousers.
Laundering and care
Machine wash cold with like colours. Tumble dry on low heat or hang on a line, and press with a warm iron if needed to clear packing folds.
