We cut this top from a lightweight, opaque cloth with pink and blue floral work across the ground. Pleating runs below the neckline to release fabric through the front, while the sleeves end between the elbow and the wrist. A curved hem finishes the lower edge so it hangs cleanly untucked over trousers or shorts.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Chest Pleating
Small pleats run down from the front yoke to add ease through the torso. This allows the woven cloth to drape naturally without pulling across the chest, giving the front panel room to move.
Three-Quarter Sleeves
The sleeves end past the elbow and sit above the wrist. We cut them straight through the arm so they push up easily or stay in place throughout the day.
Curved Hem
We shaped the hem with an upward curve along the side seams. It drops slightly lower in the front and back, sitting flat against skirts or denim without bunching.
Fabric And Care
The lightweight fabric holds its drape while staying opaque in daylight. Machine wash cold with like colours, then tumble dry on low heat or hang to dry. A quick warm iron smooths out storage creases.
