We cut this top in a solid red knit that drapes loosely away from the chest. The small front pleats add volume through the torso, balanced by three-quarter sleeves that end mid-forearm. It finishes with a curved shirt-tail hem.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Front chest pleats
Small pleats run down from the rounded neckline to release extra fabric through the body. The drape falls straight without pulling across the chest.
Three-quarter sleeve cut
The sleeves are set to finish between the elbow and the wrist. This mid-length cut leaves your hands free and layers cleanly under a light jacket.
Curved shirt hem
We shaped the bottom hem into a subtle arc that drops slightly lower in the front and back. The side seams curve upward to sit neatly over waistbands.
Knit fabric care
The smooth red jersey is lightweight and opaque. Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle and hang dry or tumble dry on low heat to maintain the shape.
