We cut these wide leg sweatpants with plenty of room through the thigh and an open, straight hem. The jersey fabric is knit with a brushed fleece interior for added weight and warmth. We dyed this run in rose grey, a muted neutral with a subtle pink undertone.

The details we cut in
Wide straight hem
The open hem falls straight down from the knee without elastic or cuffs, letting the heavy jersey drape clean over shoes. This straight cut keeps the leg opening loose for easy movement.
Drawstring waistband
The wide waistband holds a soft casing with an adjustable front cord. You can cinch it tight or let it rest low on the hips without binding.
Brushed fleece interior
We chose a cotton and polyester jersey with a dense fleece backing on the inside face. The weave holds heat well while remaining soft against the leg.
Pockets and care
Two deep side pockets sit flush along the side seams to carry small essentials. Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle inside a laundry bag, skip the bleach, and iron lightly if needed.
