We cut these lounge pants with a broad leg that falls straight from the hip to an open hem. The fabric is knit from a cotton and polyester blend with a brushed fleece interior for cool days. A ribbed waistband holds with an adjustable drawcord, finished with two deep side pockets.

The details we cut in
Wide open hem
The straight leg runs wide to an unbanded hem. It clears the ankle freely and allows easy movement around the house or on cold walks.
Brushed fleece knit
The cotton and polyester yarn is knit smooth on the outside and brushed soft inside. The lofted fleece backing adds warmth without stiffening the drape.
Cinch waistband
We finished the top with a wide elasticated band and a matching cord. You can pull the drawcord tight or leave it loose at the waist.
Laundering notes
Machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water, preferably inside a wash bag, or wash by hand. Hang to dry and iron at a low temperature.
