Fleece knit gives these wide leg trousers their weight and soft inner face. We set a channelled drawstring into the elastic waist and let the legs fall straight down to an open hem. The brown colourway runs solid across the panels.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Wide leg hem
The legs drop straight from the hip down to an open bottom hem without ribbed cuffs. This cut leaves ample room through the calves and ankles, letting the fleece hang straight without bunching.
Channelled drawstring waistband
We gathered the top edge over an elastic band and threaded a matching drawcord through the front. You can knot it loosely or draw it tight to set where the waistband rests.
Slanted side pockets
Two deep pockets sit right along the side seams. We lined them flat so they take small items without pushing the outer line of the trousers outward.
Fleece care
Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle, using a mesh bag to protect the fleece finish, or wash by hand. Do not bleach. A low iron brings back the smooth outer face.
