We cut these sweatpants with a wide, straight leg and a soft brushed fleece interior for cooler days. The elastic waist adjusts with a flat cord, letting the fabric drop freely through the hips down to an open hem. Deep side pockets sit along the seams to hold keys or a phone.

The details we cut in
Brushed fleece knit
The cotton and polyester blend has a smooth exterior and a lofted fleece backing that traps warm air. It brings weight and drape without feeling stiff on the leg.
Drawstring waistband
An elasticated band sits flat against the waist and adjusts with an exterior drawcord. It anchors the loose cut securely without bunching excessively under a sweater.
Straight open hem
Instead of a gathered ankle cuff, we left the leg wide and finished it with a clean straight hem. The open cut falls neatly over sneakers or flat shoes.
Care instructions
Machine wash on a gentle cycle using a laundry bag in cold water, or wash by hand. Avoid bleach, use fabric softener if desired, and press lightly before wear.
