We cut these sweatpants wide through the leg for an open, ungathered fall from hip to hem. The knit combines cotton and polyester with a brushed fleece interior that holds warmth without feeling heavy. We dyed this run in deep grey and finished the waist with an adjustable cord.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Wide leg cut
The legs run straight and loose down to an unbanded hem. That open bottom gives room across the ankle and lets the heavy knit drape without bunching around footwear.
Brushed fleece interior
We chose a cotton and polyester blend knit with a soft, lofted fleece backing. It traps air close to the legs while the smooth outer face holds its shape through regular washings.
Drawstring waistband
The elasticated waist sits flat and adjusts with a dyed-to-match pull cord. It anchors the wide silhouette at your natural waist without cutting into the sides as you move.
Deep side pockets
Two inset pockets sit along the side seams, deep enough to hold a phone or keys without pulling the front panels out of line. Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle.
