We cut these wide leg sweatpants with a relaxed, straight fall from the hip down to an open hem. The knit blends cotton and polyester yarns with a soft, brushed fleece lining on the inside. An encased waistband holds an inner drawcord so the rise sits where you want it.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Wide leg hem
The lower leg runs straight through to an open hem without an elastic cuff. This allows the heavy fleece knit to hang clear over sneakers or flat shoes without bunching at the ankle.
Inner drawcord waistband
We built the waistband with a flat elastic core and placed the braided drawcord on the inside. It lies flat against the waist and adjusts with a quick knot.
Brushed fleece interior
The outer face is a smooth, clean jersey knit in pale grey heather. Inside, the yarns are brushed into a lofted fleece lining that traps warm air across the thighs and calves.
Pockets and care
Two slanted hand pockets sit along the side seams to keep small items close. Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle inside a mesh laundry bag, skip the bleach, and line dry.
