We cut this cropped jacket from a plush, high-pile black faux fur that stays light over the shoulders. The interior is fully lined with smooth woven cloth so it slides easily over knits. A clean hook-and-eye closure secures the front edge without disrupting the pile.

Front closure and cut
Hook-and-eye fastenings line the front placket so the edges meet cleanly without visible hardware. The hem is cropped high to sit near the waistband of trousers or skirts.
Plush shell and lining
We chose a lofted black synthetic fur with a soft nap that holds its shape without extra weight. Inside, a smooth lining keeps the seams off your base layers.
Sleeves and side pockets
Long sleeves are cut straight through the wrist for full arm coverage. Two discreet side pockets sit in the front seams to hold small items.
Care and unpacking
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and give the garment a firm shake before hanging to dry. When unpacked from shipping, brush the pile lightly or shake to reset the texture.
