We cut this shaggy jacket with a high waist-length hem and long set-in sleeves. The dense brown faux fur brings pile and texture without dragging down the shoulders. A smooth woven lining lets the piece slide cleanly over knitwear and shirts.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Cropped front and hem
The hem terminates right at the waistband to keep the profile compact. Hidden hook-and-eye fastenings line the front placket, closing the jacket securely without breaking the surface of the fur.
Plush shaggy pile
We selected a dense polyester faux fur in a deep brown shade. The pile is shaggy and light, creating loft and surface depth across the body and sleeves while resting flat at the interior seams.
Smooth full lining
The inside is fully lined with a slick woven cloth. This keeps the pile from catching against wool sweaters, cotton tees, or blouses when you pull the jacket on.
Care and fluffing
Wash on a gentle machine cycle and hang to dry. Shake the jacket out well after washing or unpackaging, or run a wide-tooth comb through the pile to lift the fibers back into place.
