The details we cut in
Tiered lace hem
The outer skirt uses tiers of gathered lace that flare out in a short A-line shape. Each ruffle hangs freely over the layer below it, keeping the fabric light and mobile around the thigh.
Built-in inner shorts
We line the piece with soft stretch shorts sewn directly into the interior waistband. They provide full coverage beneath the sheer lace shell without adding bulk at the hip.
High waist closure
A hidden side zipper fastens the high waistband for a flat finish along the hip seam. The inner waistband elastic sits close to the body beneath the light pink lace.
Ballet pink lace
Woven from nylon with added spandex, the lace has plenty of give across the width. Wash this piece cold in a mesh bag and hang it to dry to keep the ruffles crisp.
