We cut this lace mini skort with tiered ruffles and an A-line flare in deep cherry red. Stretchy built-in shorts stay tucked under the sheer lace outer shell, while a clean side zipper fastens the high waist. The lightweight knit blend gives the outer tier gentle movement without bulk.

The details we cut in
Tiered lace hem
The outer lace hangs in layered ruffles that flare into a wide A-line hem. It moves freely when you walk, cut short with a soft scallop edge along the bottom tier.
Integrated inner shorts
Under the sheer cherry red lace, we set a pair of soft stretch shorts. They sit flat against the leg to give complete coverage while you sit, move, or walk.
High waistband and zip
A hidden side zipper closes the high waistband neatly without bunching. Because the cherry red lace has an open knit pattern, the pale inner elastic band shows faintly through at the top.
Fabric and laundering
We use a lightweight, stretchy nylon and spandex knit that holds its ruffle shape after washing. Machine wash on a gentle cold cycle in a mesh laundry bag, then lay flat to dry.
