We knit this bolero with a cropped hem that sits clear of the waistline. The yarn has enough stretch to keep the long sleeves comfortable across the arms, while the open crochet stitch lets air through. It layers flat over dresses without adding bulk at the torso.

The details we cut in
Cropped open front
The front panels hang open without buttons, hooks, or ties. We cropped the length short so the hem rests above the waistline, leaving the cut of your dress or high-waisted trousers uncovered.
Crochet knit pattern
An openwork eyelet stitch runs through the knit to give the fabric texture and light give. It adds warmth across the shoulders without feeling dense or heavy during wear.
Long set sleeves
We cut full-length sleeves with a straight cuff. The stretch in the knit yarn allows the sleeve to sit close to the arm without binding at the elbow or wrist.
Laundering and care
Place this knit in a mesh laundry bag before running it on a gentle machine cycle. Do not bleach. Lay it flat to dry so the openwork crochet retains its shape.
