We cut this lightweight running jacket from a smooth, dense knit with four-way stretch. The body follows a close line with shaped vertical seams through the front and back, finished with a stand collar and a covered zipper pull. It sits at the hip with a curved lower edge.

The details we cut in
Front seams and zipper
Vertical contour seams run down the front panels to give the knit structure without adding bulk. The full-length front zipper runs to the top of the mock neck, where a fabric garage covers the pull.
Sleeves and thumbholes
The long sleeves are cut narrow through the forearm and finish with thumbholes at the cuffs. The slots anchor the cuffs over your wrists while you move and keep the sleeves from riding up.
Pocket construction
Two zippered hand pockets sit flat along the side seams for keys and small items. Inside the front panels, two drop-in pockets provide extra flat storage without pulling on the outer shape.
Fabric and care
The synthetic knit is lightweight, soft to the touch, and recovers well after stretching. Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle and hang to dry to keep the elastic recovery intact over time.
