We cut this two-piece set for warm days around the house or out on the road. The sleeveless top has a clean round neck and contrast stitching along the seams, while the matching shorts pull on with an elasticated drawstring waistband. Both side pockets sit deep enough for daily use.

The details we cut in

Round neckline and armholes

The sleeveless top is finished with bound edges along the round neck and armholes to hold its shape through repeated washing. We gave it a straight hem that rests over the waistband without bunching.

Drawstring elastic waistband

We set a wide elastic band into the waist of the shorts and threaded a functional drawstring through the front channel. You can cinch it tighter or leave it loose depending on how you like the rise to sit.

Side seam pockets

The shorts have inset pockets stitched flat into each side seam. They lie smooth against the hip when empty and give you a spot to rest your hands or drop a small key.

Laundering and care

Wash this set in cool water on a gentle cycle and hang it to dry naturally. If it arrives creased from the packing bag, the fabric smooths out after the first wash and line dry.
