We cut this set for warm days at home or on the road. The pullover top features a clean round neck and contrast stitching along the edges, while the matching shorts sit on an elastic drawcord waistband. Light fabric gives both pieces an easy drape.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Round neck and armholes
The sleeveless top is finished with bound edges and contrast thread along the neckline. It pulls straight over the head without fasteners and hangs loose through the torso down to a straight hem.
Elastic drawstring waist
We built the shorts with an elastic core inside the waistband and ran an external cord through the front. You can cinch the waist or let it sit lower on the hips.
Side pocket construction
Two inset side pockets are sewn flat into the side seams of the shorts. They sit deep enough to carry small carry-ons without pulling the hem out of line.
Fabric and wash care
The knit is light and soft against the touch. Machine wash on a gentle cycle without bleach, then hang the top and shorts to air dry naturally to release any packing folds.
