We cut this two-piece set for warm days around the house or on the road. The pullover tank has a neat round neckline, and the matching shorts feature an elastic waist with an adjustable drawstring. Both pieces are finished with visible contrast stitching.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Neckline and shoulder
The tank is cut with a simple round neck and wide shoulder bands that sit flat. Contrast topstitching follows the binding along the neckline and armholes, giving the white fabric a clean outline.
Elastic waistband
We built the shorts with an elasticated waistband and an integrated drawstring so the waist stays where you place it. The legs are cut loose through the thigh for ease of movement.
Side pocket construction
Deep slant pockets sit along the side seams of the shorts. They lie flat against the hip when empty and hold small items securely when you are walking.
Fabric and laundering
The lightweight knit is soft to the touch and breathes easily. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and hang on a line to dry naturally to remove any packing creases.
