We cut this two-piece set in a soft, lightweight brown knit for warm days and slow travel. The sleeveless top pulls on over the head with a simple round neckline, while the shorts sit on a flexible drawstring waistband with inset pockets on both sides. Contrasting topstitch marks the seams throughout.

The details we cut in
Round neck top
The tank top is shaped with a plain crew neckline and clean armholes that rest flat against the shoulder. We gave it a relaxed cut through the torso that falls straight to an unbanded hem.
Drawstring waistband
The shorts pull on over an elastic band secured with an adjustable front cord. The legs are cut wide through the thigh to let air through while you walk.
Side pocket construction
We set deep hand pockets right into the side seams of the shorts. They sit flat against the hip when empty and hold small daily carry without pulling the waist down.
Washing and care
Machine wash the set in cool water and avoid bleach. Line dry naturally to smooth out the packing folds and maintain the soft hand of the fabric.
