We cut this two-piece set from a lightweight stretch knit dyed in muted Adobe Rose. The top features short sleeves, side hem slits, and a small inset triangle at the crew neckline. Paired with matching high-rise shorts, the pieces rest easily against each other or mix with other layers.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Neckline and side slits
The top is built with a round neck finished with an inverted triangle stitch detail. Side slits along the lower hem allow the top to sit flat over the waistband.
Drawstring waistband
We gave the shorts a high rise with an elasticated waistband and an adjustable front drawstring cord. The band stays in place without pinching or twisting.
Side pockets
Deep pockets are sewn directly into the side seams of the shorts. They lie smooth along the hips when empty and hold small items securely.
Fabric and laundering
The lightweight knit carries built-in stretch and a smooth hand. Machine wash or hand wash in cold water without bleach, and avoid high-temperature ironing to protect the knit.
