We cut this athletic skort with an outer A-line skirt over fitted inner shorts. The high waistband stays flat across the middle while the stretch knit allows full stride. It is dyed in solid white, stitched with flat seams, and finished with side pockets hidden beneath the outer hem.

The details we cut in
High elastic waistband
The waistband sits high on the torso and uses an enclosed elastic band to hold its position. It lies flat without rolling or bunching when you bend.
Inner shorts and pockets
Underneath the skirt, we sewn in a pair of fitted stretch shorts. The side panels include drop-in pockets sized for a phone, keys, or spare tennis balls.
Outer A-line hem
The outer skirt falls in a short A-line profile that flares away from the leg. The cut gives your legs room to move during runs, court matches, or walks.
Knit fabric and care
We chose a midweight stretch athletic knit that recovers after pulling and feels cool to the touch. Wash cold on a gentle cycle and line dry.
