We cut this two-piece set from a soft rayon and spandex knit that holds its drape through the leg. The long sleeve top has a simple crew neck and gathers into pleating at the waist. Paired with wide-leg trousers, it gives an easy line through the hip and ankle.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Top and neckline
The top features a banded crew neck and long set-in sleeves. We added pleating through the lower waist to shape the knit without pulling across the chest or back.
Trousers and waistband
The matching pants are cut with a wide leg and an elasticated waistband threaded with an adjustable drawstring. Deep side pockets sit flat along the hip seam for daily use.
Stretch rayon knit
We chose a rayon blend with built-in stretch for both pieces. The fabric is light, breathable, and falls straight from the waistband without bunching up at the knees.
Care and maintenance
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colours or wash by hand. Hang or line dry to protect the stretch fibres, and iron on low heat to clear shipping creases.
