We cut this two-piece lounge set from a soft, stretch rayon knit in a deep brown tone. The long-sleeve top features a simple crew neckline and subtle gathering at the waist, while the matching trousers hang straight in a wide leg. It gives you a coordinated, easy drape from shoulder to hem.

The details we cut in

Crew neck top

The top is built with a round ribbed neckline, set-in long sleeves, and soft pleating along the lower band. It holds close to the torso while leaving room across the chest and shoulders for easy movement.

Drawstring waistband

We finished the trousers with a wide elasticated waistband threaded with a flat matching drawcord. You can tie it to set your own tension without bunching the fabric at the hips.

Wide trouser leg

The bottoms fall straight from the hip into an open, relaxed leg opening. Two deep side seam pockets sit flat against the hip line to keep your hands free without distorting the drape.

Fabric and care

The rayon-blend jersey has plenty of built-in stretch and a clean matte finish. Machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle with like colours, then line dry to keep the seams aligned and the knit smooth.
