We cut this tunic from a lightweight knit with horizontal striping across the body and sleeves. The crew neckline sits flat against the collarbone, accented with a short row of buttons at the front. It falls past the hips with an easy, ungathered hang.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Crewneck and buttons
A rounded crew neckline finishes the collar with a clean band. We placed a short vertical placket with small buttons beneath the neck to break the stripe pattern.
Three-quarter sleeve cut
The three-quarter sleeves end past the elbow, leaving the lower forearm clear. The straight cuff sits flat without gathering or elastic.
Tunic body and hem
We cut the body with a loose line that drops past the waistband. The hem is turned and topstitched straight across to hang evenly over trousers.
Knit care
Wash by hand or on a cold machine cycle to keep the striped knit soft and stable. Lay flat or hang to dry in the shade.
