We cut this top from a light cotton and linen blend that keeps its natural crinkle texture. The front neckline drops into a clear V, framed with an inset panel of cotton lace that lies flat against the collarbone. It falls loose through the body down to a straight hem that clears the hips.

The details we cut in

Notched lace neckline

The V-neck is set with an openwork lace band stitched along the front collar. It keeps the neck open without gaping when you lean forward, finished with clean internal bindings.

Cotton linen weave

We chose a plain-weave cotton and linen blend for its dry hand and light weight. The yarn holds a subtle crinkle across the surface, so the cloth breathes easily without clinging.

Sleeve and body cut

Short set-in sleeves finish midway down the upper arm with double-turned hems. The torso is cut straight and roomy, leaving plenty of space through the chest and waist.

Washing and care

Machine wash on a gentle cycle inside a mesh laundry bag, or wash by hand in cold water. Lay flat to dry away from heat, and use a warm iron to smooth the lace.
