We cut this floral tunic with an open V-neckline and three-quarter sleeves finished with smocked gathers and small ruffles. The woven fabric stays light without turning sheer. It falls straight through the body to sit cleanly over trousers or skirts.

The details we cut in

V-neck cut

The neckline is cut in a clean V that sits flat along the collarbone. We finished the edge with a narrow inner facing so it holds its shape through regular wash cycles.

Smocked three-quarter sleeve

Each sleeve ends just below the elbow with soft elastic smocking and a flared ruffle cuff. The gather holds the cuff in place on the forearm without tight binding.

Khaki black floral

The print sets dark botanical outlines over a muted khaki ground. The opaque weave keeps the pale sections solid while the garment moves.

Woven fabric and care

We chose a smooth, lightweight cloth that drapes without clinging to underlayers. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, then hang or lay flat to dry to keep the smocking crisp.
