We cut this tunic from a smooth, lightweight polyester weave that hangs straight without clinging. The smocked collar opens into a shallow split neckline, matched with three-quarter sleeves that clear the wrist. The alternating brown and white stripes are printed cleanly along the straight grain.

The details we cut in
Smocked split neckline
The neckline gathers gently into a smocked band that sits flat against the collarbone. It opens at the centre into a neat split that needs no buttons or fasteners.
Three-quarter sleeve
The sleeves finish below the elbow with a clean cuff. This length stays out of the way through the working day and lets the forearm move freely.
Woven stripe fabric
We chose a lightweight polyester weave that resists creasing and holds its shape through regular wear. The vertical brown and white stripe runs parallel from shoulder to hem.
Laundering and care
Wash by hand or on a cold machine cycle. Hang the blouse on a line or drying rack to air dry rather than running it through a heated tumble dryer.
