What went into it
The details we cut in
Crew neckline and shoulders
The neck is bound with a self-fabric band that holds its circle without stretching out. We set the shoulder seams slightly wide to give the torso an easy, ungathered hang across the chest.
Sleeves and buttoned cuffs
Long sleeves taper gently toward the wrists, where we added a row of decorative buttons along each cuff. The stitching keeps the cuff tidy when pushed up or worn straight.
In-seam pockets and hem
Two side pockets sit level with the hands, sewn flat into the side seams so they do not bunch up. The hem is cut straight and long enough to cover the hips.
White flower print and wash
The white flower print is set over a soft knit base. Wash this top by hand or on a gentle machine cycle, keeping it separate from dark loads, and hang it on a line to dry.
