We cut this mini skort with a fitted body and an integrated inner short underneath the outer panel. The stretch knit is lightweight, printed in a warm brown polka dot pattern, and finished with a clean side slit at the lower edge. It sits at the mid waist with an enclosed elastic band.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Integrated inner short
We sew a close-fitting stretch short directly under the skirt panel. It stays tucked out of sight while holding the garment steady as you walk or sit.
Waistband and slit
The mid-rise waist uses a flat, flexible band that lies smooth against the hips. At the left hem, a small side slit breaks the lower seam line.
Polka dot knit
The fabric is a soft, flexible synthetic jersey with recovery in both directions. The print sets neat, spaced ivory dots across a rich brown base.
Care routine
Machine wash cold with similar dark or earth tones on a gentle cycle. Hang the piece to dry or lay it flat away from direct heat.
