We cut this piece with an outer mini skirt and a close-fitting short lining underneath. The deep blue knit has plenty of stretch and recovers its line quickly. A small side slit at the lower edge eases the straight hem across the leg.

The details we cut in
Waistband and rise
We cut the waistband high and wide so it stays flat against the middle. There are no zippers or exposed buttons to catch on other layers.
Inner short lining
Underneath the outer skirt sits a fitted short cut from the same flexible knit. It stays put while you move across the court or walk the trail.
Hem and side slit
The outer skirt finishes straight across the thigh. A short vertical slit on the side keeps the cut mobile without altering the clean profile.
Care and wash
Machine wash in cold water with similar dark colours. We recommend line drying or a low tumble cycle to preserve the recovery in the knit yarns.
