We cut this collared blouse from lightweight satin with a low-lustre surface. The neckline opens into an unbuttoned V, framed by a classic collar and full-length sleeves. It hangs straight down through the body and layers flat under a heavier jacket.

What went into it
The details we cut in
V neckline and collar
We shaped the collar to open into a steady V at the neck. The front stays flat without a button placket, resting flush against the collarbone for a clean finish under tailored lapels.
Satin drape and weight
The woven satin is lightweight with a fluid fall. It carries a low sheen across the blue green surface, cut unlined so the cloth moves freely without clinging to lower layers.
Set-in long sleeve
The sleeves are set square into the shoulder with standard wrist cuffs. They run straight along the arm, leaving room to move without pulling the shoulder seam out of place.
Washing and press
Wash on a gentle cold cycle and hang to dry. If fold creases set in during transit, use a low iron with a pressing cloth between the plate and the satin to smooth the weave.
