We cut this cropped cardigan with an open front and short set-in sleeves to sit light over sleeveless tops and sundresses. The knit has a fine, patterned texture that drapes close to the upper body without bulk. It packs down small into a bag when not worn.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Open front and crop hem
The hem sits high on the waist, leaving dresses and high-rise bottoms visible underneath. We left the front open without buttons or ties, allowing the knit panels to hang straight down the torso.
Patterned fine knit
The yarn is spun thin and knit into a textured surface stitch. It offers a light layer over bare arms in shaded spots and air-conditioned rooms while letting air pass through.
Short sleeve line
We set the sleeves short on the natural shoulder line. The cuffs are ribbed lightly to hold their shape around the upper arm without binding when you bend your elbow.
Wash and care
Place the knit in a mesh laundry bag before running it on a cold machine cycle. Do not bleach. Lay the piece flat on a towel to dry so the open stitches keep their shape.
