We shaped this pullover with an asymmetrical fold at the collar instead of a standard straight roll. The medium-gauge knit carries enough stretch to move easily without losing its form through the body. It sits flat under heavy winter coats or stands on its own over denim.

The details we cut in
Asymmetrical collar
The collar splits and overlaps at the side rather than sitting straight across the throat. It holds its upright shape without squeezing, giving the neck room while keeping drafts out.
Elastic knit texture
We chose a medium-weight yarn with built-in elasticity for a smooth surface hand. The knit breathes well across the torso while trapping heat, avoiding unnecessary bulk under outerwear layers.
Ribbed cuffs and hem
Wider ribbing finishes both the sleeve cuffs and the lower hemline. These bands anchor the sweater at the wrist and hips, keeping the long sleeves in place when pushed up.
Care and maintenance
Machine wash inside a mesh laundry bag on a gentle cycle, then hang to dry. A light pass with a warm iron clears any fold lines caused by compact storage.
