The details we cut in
Asymmetrical collar
The neck is knit as an asymmetrical roll collar that stands upright around the throat without pressing tight. It keeps drafts off the neck while offering a clean break from a standard symmetrical fold.
Knit weight and yarn
We chose a high-stretch yarn knit to a medium density. The surface is smooth across the chest, flexible through the shoulders, and holds enough air between loops to trap warmth under winter outerwear.
Ribbed cuffs and hem
The long sleeves finish in wide ribbed cuffs that stay put at the wrists. We used the same dense ribbing along the bottom hem so the body sits square across the hips without curling.
Laundering and care
Machine wash this piece in a mesh laundry bag on a gentle cycle, then hang it up to dry. A brief steam or cool iron smooths any folds after storage or washing.
