We knit this pullover with a loose, unhurried drape for cooler weather. The light coffee yarn gives a warm, neutral tone, while the round neckline, cuffs, and lower edge carry a scalloped border instead of standard ribbing. It sits comfortably over skirts or under heavier outerwear.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Scalloped neckline
The crewneck is bound with a rounded scalloped edge that sits flat against the collarbone. It opens wide enough to layer over a collared shirt or sit plainly on its own.
Cuff and hem finish
Rather than traditional ribbed bands, we continued the scalloped edge along the cuffs and the straight lower hem. The long sleeves fall easily over the wrists without tight elastic.
Light coffee knit
We chose a medium-weight yarn in light coffee that holds its texture without feeling heavy. The loose cut lets the knit drape straight down through the torso rather than clinging.
Care and drying
Hand wash in cool water or machine wash inside a mesh laundry bag. Lay the knit flat to dry so the scalloped borders and body keep their shape. Use a low iron if needed.
