We knit this pullover with a dense, soft cotton blend yarn in deep wine red. The body is cut relaxed through the torso with dropped shoulder seams and raglan shaping through the sleeves. A wide, structured rib finishes the mock collar so it stays upright without pressing tight.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Wide ribbed collar
We shaped the neckline with a tall mock band in a broad rib. It holds its height without rolling down, leaving room at the throat for easy layering over collared shirts.
Dropped shoulder line
The shoulder seam falls low off the shoulder point before running into the long sleeves. That extra width through the upper arm keeps the knit loose and easy through movement.
Mid weight cotton knit
We chose a dense cotton blend yarn that carries good body without prickly surface fibres. The knit holds its shape across the chest and falls straight down to the hips.
Knit care
Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle inside a mesh laundry bag, or wash by hand. Reshape the damp pullover and lay it flat to dry so the ribbed collar and hem retain their shape.
