We cut this purple sweater with a chunky ribbed mock neck that holds its upright shape without rolling. The cotton-blend knit has a dense mid-weight body that drapes loosely from dropped raglan shoulders. Long sleeves finish in matching ribbing along the wrists and straight hem.

The details we cut in
Wide ribbed mock neck
The structured mock collar uses a wider rib to stay upright along the throat. It sits higher than a crewneck and keeps its clean line throughout the day.
Raglan drop shoulder
We shifted the shoulder seam downward with a raglan line for extra room through the upper arms and chest. The body falls loose and straight to the lower hip.
Cotton blend knit
We chose a high-density cotton blend yarn that feels soft to the touch and resists surface pilling. The knit provides warmth without excess bulk under a coat.
Laundering and care
Place the knit in a mesh laundry bag and run on a cold machine cycle, or wash by hand. Lay the sweater flat to dry to keep the collar and cuffs in shape.
