We cut this maxi dress from a stretchy ribbed knit in a saturated hot pink. The top features a tidy crew neck and set-in short sleeves. It stays fitted through the torso and thighs, then opens slightly into a flared fishtail hem that gives your stride plenty of room.

The details we cut in
Crew neck and short sleeves
The neckline is finished with a self-fabric crew band that sits flat against the collarbone. Short set-in sleeves keep the shoulders neat and balanced against the long line of the skirt.
Ribbed knit fabric
We chose a flexible vertical rib knit that stretches readily and recovers its shape. The knit has enough weight to hang straight while following the lines of the body.
Fishtail hem
The skirt stays close past the knees before widening toward the bottom hem. This flare adds ease of movement so you can walk without the fabric catching or binding.
Colour and care
The hot pink dye holds fast in the wash. Machine wash cold with like colours on a gentle cycle, then lay flat to dry to preserve the vertical ribs and hem shape.
