We cut these fleece lounge trousers with a wider straight leg that falls cleanly from hip to hem. The interior is lightly brushed for loft without adding stiff bulk. An elastic waistband with an exterior tie lets you choose where the rise sits. Finished in deep navy blue.

What went into it

The details we cut in

Wide straight leg

The leg runs straight from the upper thigh down to an open hem, avoiding the taper of standard track cuffs. It gives the fleece room to drape cleanly while you walk or sit.

Brushed fleece fabric

We chose a cotton and polyester blend knit with a smooth exterior and a lightly lofted fleece backing. It stays soft through regular laundering and holds its shape without sagging.

Drawcord waist

The gathered elastic waistband holds firm on its own, backed by a flat fabric tie. You can cinch it higher at the natural waist or knot it lower on the hips as preferred.

Slanted side pockets

Two inset pockets sit along the side seams, cut deep enough to hold keys or a phone securely without pulling the outer lines of the pant out of shape.
